Winter Camp 2011

- $15 per Big Brave and Little Brave before 12/24/2011
- Plan to bring the following:
- Food & drinks, Firewood, Flashlights, Sleeping bags, Extra clothing, Cooking gear (plates, spoons, knives), Turkey deepfryer, Toilet kit including bathroom tissue
- Registration due by December 24, 2011 and is first come first served
- Submit registration form (download it here) to your Tribal Chief or Bill Centrello
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:
- Friday, Jan 7
- 5:30 pm: Check in at Administration Building
- 8:00 pm: Night Hike (start at Training Lodge)
- Saturday, Jan 8:
- Morning & Afternoon: Sledding and/or hiking at Virginia Kendall section of Cuyahoga Valley National Park.
- Map of Virginia Kendall can be found by clicking here.
- Sledding is usually from the Quick Road entrance that is closest to the Quick Road-Akron Peninsula Road intersection on the north side.
- Tribes should arrange sledding and hiking times on their own. Remind your members who are not camping that they can get a Longhouse event credit by sledding or hiking on Saturday.
- Other activities in Camp Manatoc such as hiking, ball games, camp fires, etc are on your own.
- 7:30 pm: Bonfire Social Gathering.
- Sunday, Jan 9:
- 12:00 noon: Check out. Clean cabins and take of all trash before leaving.
- All tribes are responsible for their own meals and firewood!
